Bereavement Day Camp for Children
For children who have experienced the death of a relative, loved one, or close friend. The camp is staffed by VNA bereavement counselors, volunteers, and activity leaders who are trained in bereavement support. Special camp activities are designed to help children work through their grief and understand that their emotions are a normal part of the grieving process. Campers have an opportunity to interact with peers who have experienced a similar loss and discover they are not alone.
