VERO BEACH, Fla. – (Dec. 20, 2005) – Holy Cross Catholic Church is hosting a “Critical Issues in Pastoral & Spiritual Care” presentation from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 9 for pastoral ministers, spiritual directors, therapists and health care workers.
Internationally known speakers Dennis Linn, Sheila Fabricant Linn and Matt Linn - authors of 19 books on healing and recovery - will discuss the emotional and spiritual issues facing pastoral ministers and health care workers as they work with clients and patients. Topics include the need for a sense of belonging, healing emotional deprivation, anger and the process of forgiveness and unresolved grief for the loss of a loved one.
Cost of the presentation is $25 and includes lunch. The Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast will be offering CEU credit to nurses and social workers. Reservations are required by Jan. 3.
