For the past two months, Debbie Davidson has discovered great deals while shopping at the VNA’s Hidden Treasures resale boutique. She heard about the store through friends who shop there weekly. “This store has so many items to choose from and so much variety,” says Davidson. She now stops by at least two times a week. “The store has better prices and sales than the department stores, and I find designer clothes every time I come in,” says Debbie.
Another customer, Charles Riley doesn’t miss a Monday and hasn’t for six years. “I come to the store every Monday, just to see what I can find. I’m retired and on a budget, and I always find something affordable to buy. I don’t shop retail,” says Riley, “Hidden Treasures has great prices.”

Located at 656 21st Street, in the Vero Beach Miracle Mile Plaza, Hidden Treasures offers high-quality merchandise at low prices. Proceeds from the store help offset the day-to-day operating expense of the VNA Hospice House and benefit VNA hospice’s mission of providing compassionate care for Indian River County patients facing life-limiting illnesses. Open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Hidden Treasures offers some of the best bargains in town.
In addition to the manager’s daily specials, Hidden Treasures has 20%-off sales each Tuesday. The first Tuesday of the month features 20% off artwork and frames; the second Tuesday features 20% off pink ticket items (high-end clothing); the third Tuesday, senior citizens (55+) receive 20% off storewide; and the fourth Tuesday features 20% off houseware items. The store regularly receives donations of brand name items including Liz Claiborne, Izod, Ralph Lauren, Talbot’s, Nautica and others, with holiday decorations and collectibles on sale year round. Hidden Treasures accepts donations of items such as furniture, clothing, small electronic appliances, housewares, artwork, and linens during business hours. The store also offers delivery of larger items, such as furniture, for a minimal fee and pick-ups are available for larger items at no charge.
Interested in volunteering? Then join the more than 70 volunteers who donate four or more hours a week to the store and help with merchandising and daily operations. Hidden Treasures welcomes new volunteers who want to work in a fun and rewarding environment. Maria Sobkowiak, who has volunteered at Hidden Treasures for the past year and a half, creates the store’s beautiful window displays and enjoys changing the theme every month. “The items for sale in the window display always seem to sell quickly,” she says.
