The VNA of the Treasure Coast will be hosting its second annual Hustle for Home Health and Hospice 5K run/walk on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. in Sebastian. The store hours will be Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. All participants will receive a goodie bag with a 50% off coupon for any one item in the store. This event marks the grand opening of a new Hidden Treasures thrift store in located at 11646 US Highway 1 in Sebastian.
The Hustle for Home Health and Hospice event will begin near the Sebastian Hidden Treasures store by Riverview Park, and registrants will travel along the scenic Indian River. The first 300 participants to register will receive a free long-sleeved t-shirt, and all participants will receive a medal and goodie bag. Both runners and walkers of all ages are encouraged to participate. Online applications are available on the VNA website, www.vnatc.com and on www.active.com. Applications are also available at the VNA and Nightingale offices, VNA Hidden Treasures, and Runner’s Depot - both stores located on Miracle Mile in Vero Beach. Cost to participate is $20 per entry for advance registration or $25 for race day registration. Multiple entry discounts are available. All proceeds from the event will benefit the VNA’s services including home healthcare, community wellness programs, charitable care, and hospice care for patients in our community.
