Looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity and a chance to make a difference in other people’s lives? The VNA is hosting a volunteer open house on Friday, Mar. 2, 9–10 a.m. at the VNA offices, 1110 35th Lane in Vero Beach.
Through the open house, participants will learn about the valuable role VNA serves in the community through its community wellness, home healthcare, and hospice services. Attendees will also learn about the various volunteer opportunities available, including: working directly with patients and families, helping at VNA’s Hidden Treasures resale boutique, and assisting behind the scenes as an office volunteer.
The VNA’s volunteer open house is held the first Friday of every month. Future dates are April 6 and May 4. There is no charge to attend; however, reservations are required as space is limited. For more information or to reserve a space, call the volunteer department at 772.978.5553.
