Marilyn Wurzer Joins VNA & Hospice Foundation Board

Vero Beach, Fla.--(February 27, 2007)--The Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation welcomes Marilyn Wurzer to the Foundation's Board of Directors.

Wurzer, originally from Ohio, attended Northwestern University and established a career in interior design and real estate sales.

As a Vero Beach resident, Wurzer has been actively involved in the community, especially giving her time to the VNA. For the past three years, Wurzer has been a co-chairman for the VNA's annual Golf-A-Thon--an event that raises proceeds to support charity home health and hospice charity care. Now, as a Foundation board member, Wurzer will work with the other volunteers to create awareness about the philanthropic opportunities available to support the VNA and to guide the agency's fundraising efforts to ensure the VNA can continue achieving its mission.

Additionally, Wurzer is involved with Evanston Hospital, the Infant Welfare Society, the Arden Shore Home for Boys, and John's Island Community Service League.

The Visiting Nurse Association is Indian River County's first, and remains its sole, non-profit home health and hospice agency. For more information about VNA services and programs, visit www.vnatc.com or call 772.567.5551.
