The Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast recently announced that it has selected Sarah K. Mondano, R.N., B.S.N., as its Director of Business Development and Sales. Mondano brings to the VNA more than 20 years of clinical, marketing, and managerial experience in healthcare settings. In her new role, she will have primary responsibility for all aspects of the VNA’s business development, sales, and patient referral efforts.
Prior to joining the VNA, Mondano served as the National Account Manager for Oncology Molecular Imaging, where she provided leadership and development of cancer centers nationwide. Mondano received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the Duke University School of Nursing in Durham, North Carolina.
“I am very excited to have Sarah join our team here at the VNA,” said Jim Newbrough, President and CEO of the home healthcare and hospice care organization. “Her background and experience are a perfect fit for this position. Her knowledge of the local medical community will help her to be extremely effective in her new role almost immediately.”
In addition to working for Oncology Molecular Imaging, Mondano has worked for healthcare companies nationwide. Her expertise includes marketing and product management, strategic planning, and sales management.
Mondano is a lifelong resident of Vero Beach. “I am honored to be able to serve this community in my new role at the VNA,” she said.
