VNA Offering Summer Teen Volunteer Program

VERO BEACH, Fla. – (April 17, 2008) – Teens in grades 9 through 12 can help make a difference in the lives of others this summer by signing up for the VNA’s teen summer volunteer program.

Teen volunteers can help in a variety of ways at the VNA Hidden Treasures resale boutique including sorting and tagging merchandise, organizing sales racks, creating displays and operating the cash register. Teen volunteers are also needed at the VNA offices. Teens can earn service hours for scholarships and school requirements, all while giving back to the community in a fun and safe environment.

Teen volunteers will join a team of more than 350 dedicated and caring VNA volunteers. For more information about the teen volunteer program, contact Tracey Soethe, VNA’s volunteer manager, at 772-978-5553 or tsoethe@vnatc.com.
