The VNA mobile unit provides a variety of healthcare services for Indian River County residents. The staff provides care—such as tetanus shots and treatment for minor cuts, bruises, infections and other non-emergency care—free of charge for sick patients without health insurance or a private physician. Wellness care—such as physicals, immunization boosters and health screenings—is also available as a convenience for any Indian River County resident for a nominal fee. Care is provided on a first-come, first-served basis; however, sick patients are given priority over those needing wellness care (i.e., physicals). For children to receive care their legal guardian must accompany them. For more information about mobile unit services, call 772.567.5551 or visit www.vnatc.com.
