VERO BEACH, Fla. (May 25, 2006) – Teens in grades 9-12 can help make a difference in the lives of others beginning this summer by signing up for TLC: Teens Lending Care, a new volunteer program being offered by VNA Hospice.
TLC volunteers can help in a variety of ways at VNA Hidden Treasures resale boutique including sorting and tagging merchandise, organizing sales racks and operating the cash register. Volunteers are also needed at the VNA offices. TLC volunteers can earn service hours for scholarships and school, all while giving back to the community in a fun and safe environment.
