VERO BEACH, Fla. (Jun. 20, 2007) — On Friday, June 29, the VNA will be offering blood pressure and blood sugar screenings from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Vero Beach Power Squadron building, 301 Acacia Road in Vero Beach. These screenings will be free of charge and will be open to the public.
Remember, if you’d like to have your blood sugar checked, you must fast from midnight on the evening before the test to ensure an accurate reading. Refreshments will be available after testing.
