VNA TO HOST CAREGIVER SYMPOSIUM IN JULY
VERO BEACH, Fla. – (June 5, 2008) –Are you caring for a loved one living with a chronic illness and don’t know where to turn? If so, mark your calendar for Friday, July 11th.
The Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast will host a caregiver symposium from 1 – 4 pm at the Courthouse Executive Center—2145 14th Avenue—in Vero Beach.
VNA medical director, Dr. Michael Venazio and VNA staff will be on hand to explain how the VNA can serve as an advocate to help you through the healthcare maze. You’ll learn about services such as in-home nursing care, physical therapy and companion services; personalized private care; transportation to and from doctors’ appointments; and hospice and palliative care, if desired.
