The VNA is pleased to announce that Keith Hinton, MBA, CAHP has joined the organization as Chief Advancement Officer.
Hinton brings to the VNA more than 30 years experience in major fundraising campaigns, special events and healthcare management. In his new role, Hinton will be responsible for the management and direction for all aspects of the Foundation’s fundraising efforts at the VNA. Prior to joining the VNA, he served as the Foundation Executive Director at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, TX, where he developed and managed a comprehensive development program for its start-up Foundation.
In addition to working at Mission Hospital, Hinton previously worked at Bon Secours-St. Joseph Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL as Foundation Executive Director, where he also served as Vice President of Strategic Planning, Business Development and Government Relations. In his earlier career, Hinton worked as Foundation Executive Director at St. Paul Medical Center in the Dallas area and as a professional fundraising consultant in Illinois.
Hinton received both his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and master’s degree in Psychology/Counseling at Murray State University in Murray, KY and his master’s in Marketing/Healthcare Administration at the University of Dallas in Irving, TX.
