VERO BEACH, Fla. (July 12, 2006) –Looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity and a chance to make a difference in other people’s lives? VNA Hospice is hosting a six-day volunteer training seminar in August.
The training sessions will educate participants on the valuable role hospice serves in the community, and the various volunteer opportunities available to help care for patients and their families during their most difficult times. Seminar participants will join a team of more than 350 dedicated and caring volunteers.
Training dates are Aug. 3, 4, 10, 11, 15 and 18; classes will run noon - 4 p.m. in the third floor conference room at the VNA offices, 1110 35th Lane.
