VERO BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 8, 2005) – The Visiting Nurse Association has added an additional clinic for free blood pressure and blood sugar tests on Sept. 22 at the Vero Beach Senior Center, 686 14th Street, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Also, the clinic scheduled for Friday, Sept. 16 at the Indian River County Mall has been moved to the VNA Senior & Caregiver Health Fair at the Vero Beach Community Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free blood pressure and blood sugar tests are also available at the following locations through the end of September:
- 10 a.m. to noon, Sept. 13, at Staples, 1191 U.S. Highway 1 in Vero Beach (blood pressure only)
- 10:45 a.m. to noon, Sept. 15, at VNA Hospice Thrift Avenue, 1146 21st St. in Vero Beach
- 10:30 a.m. to noon, Sept. 19, at Walgreens, 1705 U.S. Highway 1 in Vero Beach (blood pressure only)
- 8-10 a.m., Sept. 20, at Christi’s Fitness & Weight Management, 1277 Old Dixie Highway in Vero Beach
- 1-3 p.m., Sept. 20, at North Indian River County Library, 1001 Sebastian Blvd. in Sebastian (blood pressure only)
- 9-11 a.m., Sept. 21, at Walgreens West, 58th Avenue and Route 60 in Vero Beach (blood pressure only)
- 9-10 a.m., Sept. 22, at Perkins Medical Supply, 3721 10th Ct. in Vero Beach
- 9-10 a.m., Sept. 26, at Walgreens, Oslo Road and U.S. Highway 1 in Vero Beach (blood pressure only)
