Vero Beach, Fla. (September 8, 2005) – The Visiting Nurse Association Health Care on Wheels mobile unit will be at the VNA Senior & Caregiver Health Fair at the Vero Beach Community Center on Friday, Sept. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to noon instead of its scheduled location at the VNA parking lot.
The mobile unit is also stationed at the following locations:
- Monday, 8:30 a.m. to noon, Oslo Road and 20th Avenue; 1-8 p.m., Sam’s Club Parking lot, 5565 20th St.
- Tuesday, 1-8 p.m., Riverview Park, Harrison Street in Sebastian
- Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to noon, Oslo Road and 20th Avenue; 1-8 p.m. VNA parking lot, 1110 35th Lane in Vero Beach
- Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to noon, St. Matthews, 8550 64th Ave., Wabasso; 1-8 p.m., Sam's Club Parking Lot, 5565 20th St.
- Friday, 1:30-8 p.m., Fellsmere Community Center, N. Broadway Street in Fellsmere
- Saturday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Fellsmere Community Center, N. Broadway Street in Fellsmere
The mobile unit is available for tetanus shots, minor cuts, bruises, infections and other non-emergency care. Mobile unit services are available free of charge to all residents of Indian River County without health insurance or a private physician.
