VERO BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 15, 2005) – In recognition of Cholesterol Education Month, the Visiting Nurse Association’s Health Care on Wheels mobile unit will be offering discounted cholesterol screenings for $15 on Sept. 22 and 29 from 8:30-11 a.m. at St. Matthews Baptist Church (8550 64th Avenue).
According to the American Heart Association, high cholesterol may lead to heart attack or stroke. It is recommended that individuals 20 years of age or older should have their cholesterol tested every five years.
