VERO BEACH, FL (October 21, 2009) – VNA Hidden Treasures resale boutique will be a drop off location for the Toys for Tots annual Christmas campaign until December 11th.
The mission of the Toys for Tots Program is to bring the joy of Christmas to less fortunate children by collecting new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The principal goal is to deliver a message of hope that will inspire needy youngsters to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. Last year, Toys for Tots distributed 16.2 million toys to 7.6 million needy children nationally.
“We know this has been a challenging year for everyone, so we are honored to be assisting Toys for Tots in helping them achieve their goal this holiday season,” said Hidden Treasures Store Manager, Theresa Ooley.
If you would like to donate a new, unwrapped toy, please stop by Hidden Treasures, located at 656 21st Street in Miracle Mile Plaza. Store hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
