VERO BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 22, 2005) – The Visiting Nurse Association is adding several locations and times to its flu clinic schedule to better serve the community.
New flu clinics include:
- Dodgertown Spring Training Building, 4003 26th St., Vero Beach, Nov. 29 and Dec. 5- 6, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- VNA Thrift Avenue, 1146 U.S. Highway 1, Vero Beach, Nov. 30, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
- Sebastian Gym and Fitness, 345 Sebastian Blvd., Nov. 30, 1-3 p.m.
- First United Methodist Church, 1740 20th St., Vero Beach, Dec. 1, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Vero Beach Book Center – Children’s Store, 2145 Indian River Blvd, Vero Beach, Dec. 1, 4-6 p.m.
- North Indian River Library, 1001 Sebastian Blvd., Sebastian, Dec. 2, 1-4 p.m.
- Royal Palm Convalescent Center, 2180 10th Ave., Vero Beach, Dec. 7, 1-4 p.m.
- Butterfield Drugs, 5009 Turnpike Feeder Rd., Ft. Pierce, Dec. 8, 9 a.m. – noon
- Outlets at Vero Beach, 1872 94th Dr., Dec. 9, 2-6 p.m. and Dec. 10, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Green Market at the Heritage Center, 2140 14th Ave, Vero Beach, Dec. 13, 4-7 p.m.
The VNA administers vaccinations to anyone 18 and older; flu vaccines are $31 per dose; pneumonia vaccines are $44 per dose. There is no charge for people who present a Medicare or Health First Medicare HMO card at time of immunization.
