Vero Beach, Fla. (Nov. 22, 2005) – This holiday season marks the 15th annual VNA Hospice Tree of Remembrance celebration, running Nov. 25 through Dec. 26 at the Indian River Mall. The public is invited to visit the tree, which will be located at the entrance to Dillard’s, and hang an angel card in memory of a loved one. Teddy bear cards will also be available for children to color and hang on a special Teddy Bear Tree.
VNA Hospice is also offering handcrafted porcelain dove, snowflake or butterfly ornaments to individuals who donate $15 or more to VNA Hospice. In 2004, VNA Hospice raised more than $10,000 through the Tree of Remembrance program, which helps provide hospice care to patients in Indian River County who face a life-limiting illness. VNA Hospice is the only non-profit provider of hospice care in the county.
