VERO BEACH, Fla. – (November 21, 2008) –The VNA Hidden Treasures resale boutique is recognizing November as National Hospice Month and celebrating in a big way on Friday, November 28th by offering 20% off all merchandise storewide.
Looking for stocking stuffers or holiday gifts? Hidden Treasures offers a variety of collectibles including: Boyd Bears©, Charming Tails, Cherished Teddies®, Mary’s MooMoos, Harbour Lights Lighthouses, Boehm Birds and Precious Moments® will also be on sale.
In addition, a VNA representative will be on hand from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to offer information about hospice care and complimentary copies of Fives Wishes, a living will booklet, will be available. Flu and pneumonia shots will also be available from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Flu vaccinations will be $28 and pneumonia vaccinations are $45. Individuals who bring their Medicare or Health First Medicare HMO card pay no out-of-pocket expense at the time of immunization. The VNA will bill Medicare on their behalf.
VNA Hospice operates the Hidden Treasures resale boutique located at 656 21st Street, Vero Beach, in the Miracle Mile Plaza. Proceeds from the store help VNA Hospice provide care for Indian River County patients with life-limiting illnesses and also support the day-to-day operating expenses of the VNA Hospice House. The store is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and donations are accepted until 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
