VERO BEACH, Fla. (Dec. 19, 2005) - Looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity and a chance to make a difference in other people's lives? VNA Hospice of Indian River County is hosting a volunteer open house on Jan. 6 from 9-10 a.m. at the VNA offices, 1110 35th Lane.
Through the open house, participants will learn about the valuable role hospice serves in the community, and the various volunteer opportunities available to help care for patients and families during their most difficult times.
The open house is held monthly on the first Friday of the month. Future dates are Feb. 3, March 3 and April 7. There is no charge to attend; however, reservations are required as space is limited.
