VNA's "Health Care on Wheels" Mobile Unit, operated by the VNA through funds provided by the Indian River County Hospital District, offers same day medical attention at convenient locations throughout Indian River County. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners on board the Unit can examine, diagnose and prescribe medications for minor, non-urgent illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, sore throats, earaches and minor cuts.

There is no charge to residents of Indian River County who cannot afford health insurance or the services of a physician. The Unit also offers all Indian River County residents cholesterol screenings, as well as school, sports, and work physicals for a nominal fee.

Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis, and must arrive 30 minutes before the close times shown below in order to be treated. For children to receive care, they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
