Kathy OrtonVice President of Clinical Services /Chief Regulatory Officer
Kathy is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the VNA’s compliance programs including activities related to regulatory oversight at both Federal and State levels, agency accreditation by the Joint Commission, and licensure. She is also responsible for helping to educate VNA associates about pending and current regulatory changes. Kathy earned her nursing degree from Fitchburg College in Massachusetts. She also holds a Master’s degree in healthcare administration from Kennedy Western University. She is also a licensed Risk Manager.
Kerry BartlettVice President of VNA & Hospice Foundation
Kerry Bartlett, CFRE, MBA is the Vice President of the VNA & Hospice Foundation. Kerry has 25 years of experience in philanthropy including fundraising campaigns, planned giving, board development, strategic planning and organizational culture. Her vast experience includes serving as the chief advancement officer for the VNA from 2001-2007, as the executive director for the Indian River Community Foundation and, most recently, as managing director of Carter (formerly known as Bob Carter Companies), where she continues to be a consultant for nonprofit organizations.
Since 2001, Kerry has held the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) accreditation. In 2006, she co-founded the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Indian River, Florida Chapter. She is a member of the Planned Giving Council of Indian River and the Indian River Estate Planning Council. She is one of seven co-chairs for the 2015-16 United Way of Indian River County campaign in addition to serving on the Board of the Kindergarten Readiness Collaborative and the Mental Health Association Governance Committee. Kerry holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Nova Southeastern University.
Mary BlumsteinVice President of Finance
Mary Blumstein is the Vice President of Finance. Joining the VNA in 2001, Mary is now responsible for all financial reporting, projecting and care for the agency. In addition to that, she oversees the finance, IT and facilities departments for the agency. Mary is a Vero Beach native who graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1981 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida in 1985. Mary also earned a Master of Business Administration in management from Webster University in 1994. Mary’s previous work experience includes serving as a financial analyst, controller, and chief financial officer for five years at a doctor’s clinic as well as several finance and accounting positions at Hill-Rom Services, Inc. in Charleston, South Carolina.
Mary Linn HamiltonPresident and CEO
Mary Linn most recently served as President and CEO of the VNA of Rhode Island and brings extensive experience with home healthcare, hospice and palliative care, homemaker/companion services, and community wellness programming, all core services offered by the VNA of the Treasure Coast. In addition, her leadership experience includes a thorough understanding of pediatric home care, home infusion services, and home medical equipment.
Mary Linn earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Simmons College, in Boston, Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. She also completed a Fellowship at the University of Chicago’s Center for Health Administration Studies and has completed Doctoral Program coursework in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University’s School of Public Health.
Rosalie WebsterVice President of Human Resources & Education
Rosalie, brings to the VNA more than fourteen years of HR support, employee relations, and managerial experience in human resource positions for large companies. She is responsible for the management and direction of all aspects of the VNA’s human resource and education departments. Prior to joining the VNA, she served as the Human Resource Director at Senior Resource Association in Vero Beach, where she provided leadership, support, and recruitment. In addition to working at the Senior Resource Association, Webster previously worked at Musa Holdings, in Florida, as the Human Resources Director, where she took a one year project to revamp HR functions and enhance department and company performance. Rosalie earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Montclair State University. She has also earned certification as an SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources).
