3.1- mile walk/run
Saturday, March 3, 2012, 7:30 a.m. 11646 US 1, Sebastian, FL 32958 (map) The VNA’s Hustle for Home Health & Hospice 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk event will take place rain or shine on Saturday, March 3, 2012 to mark the grand opening of the new Hidden Treasures resale boutique in Sebastian! Participants can register online, through the mail, or on the day of the race. Participants will begin at the Sebastian Hidden Treasures store south of Riverview Park and will walk and run along the scenic Indian River. Walkers are welcome and restrooms will be available.
All registrants will receive a goodie bag, and complimentary t-shirts will be awarded to the first 235 entries. Medals will be awarded to all finishers. Age group winners will be announced and top overall male and female finisher will receive a prize. Food, refreshments, and entertainment will be provided after the race.
100% of the proceeds from our thrift stores provide support to VNA Hospice of Indian River County by offsetting the day-to-day operating expenses of the VNA Hospice program allowing the VNA to fulfill its mission of providing compassionate end-of-life care for Indian River County patients regardless of their financial resources.
