Dr. Michael Venazio received his B.A. from Rutgers University and his M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his internal medicine residency at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Venazio is a board certified internist and has been practicing in Sebastian, Florida since 1997. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and has been serving as Chief of Staff at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, Florida since January 2008. Dr. Venazio oversees quality of patient care and provides direction and guidance for VNA Hospice of Indian River County and VNA of Indian River County.

Arley A. Peter, M.D.
Dr. Arley Peter is a board certified cardiologist, board certified adult echo cardiologist, board certified nuclear cardiologist, and is also board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Peter completed both his undergraduate degree and M.D. at the Federal University of Ceara, in Fortaleza, CE, Brazil. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship through the University of Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital and also trained as a clinical scientist at the National Institute of Health, both located in Miami, FL. Dr. Peter is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Peter is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Dr. Peter’s role is to oversee all home health services provided by VNA of Indian River County.
James D. Kearney, M.D.
Dr. James Kearney is a board certified internist and partner of Medical Associates of Brevard. Dr. Kearney completed both his undergraduate degree and M.D. at the University of Maryland’s Baltimore campus, where he was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Kearney completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and was a recipient of the AMA Physicians Recognition Award in 2006 and 2008. Dr. Kearney’s role is to oversee VNA Space Coast and VNA Health Services programs including “Shoo the Flu” and the mobile unit.
