Community Services

Mobile Health Unit
Treats minor, non-urgent illnesses for those who cannot afford health insurance or physician services. There is no charge to residents of Indian River County, and patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wellness Health Clinics
It is important to take steps to keep both your blood pressure and blood sugar under control. The VNA is committed to keeping you well, and offers no-cost blood pressure and blood sugar screenings throughout Indian River and Brevard Counties.

Shoo the Flu
Individuals who get their flu shot from one of the VNA’s Shoo the Flu clinics is supporting a local non-profit organization. Each flu clinic is staffed by nurses who are available to answer questions about the flu and pneumonia vaccines.

Caregiver Support Groups
The VNA Caregiver Support Groups allow for you to come together with other individuals in the community who are experiencing the same challenges. The VNA Caregiver Support Groups are open to anyone in the public regardless of the diagnosis of their loved one.

Speaking Engagements
The VNA provides speakers on health-related topics at no cost to the community. We will arrange the qualified speaker to educate your local service organization, place of worship, business group, volunteer organization, or community association on the topic of your choice.
