The Visiting Nurse Association’s (VNA) award-winning Caregiver Conference is returning to First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach on Tuesday, April 2 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. The free event will be held at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard in Vero Beach. Space is limited, so attendees must RSVP in advance at www.vnatc.com/care or call 772-978-5515.
VNA’s Caregiver Conference will highlight healthcare and human services available in our community. Attendees will be treated to an open discussion between a panel of local experts from: the VNA, Alzheimer & Parkinson Association of Indian River County, Indian River County Fire Rescue and the Law Office of Marie Conforti. New this year, various vendors will be onsite to offer additional information about local resources.
The conference will feature a complimentary breakfast provided by Renaissance Senior Living of Vero Beach and exercises in both mindfulness and music therapy, led by a VNA hospice counselor and board-certified music therapists.
The VNA created the conference to bridge the gap between caregiver needs and local, affordable resources by partnering with other community organizations to bring awareness, education, resources and support to seniors and caregivers throughout Indian River County.
