Honor the loss of a loved one with VNA’s ‘Trees of Remembrance’ on display Nov. 14 – Dec. 28

Tree web3-01

This holiday season from November 14th to December 28th, a Tree of Remembrance will be at VNA Hospice’s Hidden Treasures thrift stores at both their Vero Beach (656 21st Street) and Sebastian (11646 US HWY 1) locations. The Trees of Remembrance allow visitors to honor loved ones lost by decorating the tree with a card displaying the name of their loved one. As part of the Tree of Remembrance program, VNA Hospice offers holiday memorial ornaments for purchase to benefit VNA’s hospice program. Each ornament comes packaged for gift giving. To view this season’s memorial ornament, please visit www.vnatc.com/tree, or call Sara Bumgarner at 772-978-5553 for more information.

For 26 years, VNA Hospice has offered the Tree of Remembrance as a community service at no-cost, however, donations are appreciated and gratefully accepted. In addition to decorating the Trees of Remembrance at both Hidden Treasures locations, visitors will also have the opportunity to order this season’s beautiful memorial ornament, a silver filigree butterfly with an engraved heart. All proceeds from Hidden Treasures thrift stores, the Trees of Remembrance and holiday memorial ornaments help provide care to patients and families in Indian River County coping with life-limiting illnesses.
